The Left Has Come Completely Unhinged. And There's No End In Sight.

So here we are, barreling toward Crazytown.

   At what point will the remnants of the moderate left admit that progressivism has lost its goddamn mind? At what point will they stop making excuses for it? Stop pretending that it shows any signs of moderating or coming to its senses? We're way beyond that, anyway. Even if the totalitarian left started slowing down right now it's already gone too far. Unless the crazy is rolled back--way back--the country is done for. 

   Consider just the extremely narrow slice of left-madness that's the focal point of the recent spasms: the question of lethal violence--especially lethal police violence--against blacks. The open season myth is clearly refuted by extensive and easily-available evidence: contrary to the central theme of BLM, the police are not massacring black men. And neither are whites. But it is a core tenet of the Orwellian left that facts are subordinate to dogma. And the mainstream media is little more than a more-or-less unified leftist propaganda organ at this point. So the evidence--sitting right there, ready at hand--is suppressed and the myth is promoted. Blacks are convinced that they are hated and hunted. White progressives are convinced that they are secretly sinful and must abase themselves and beg forgiveness--which many have done with grotesque enthusiasm. The feverish, falsifiable, and false leftist myth of pervasive "systemic" racism has, in the course of a few weeks, become unquestioned and unquestionable "fact." A goodfact! A lovefact! And now society must be further reengineered to accord with illiberal-left principles and myths. To even question this is, of course, to be...well...you know.

   And, almost a sidebar: all this despite the fact that police violence against blacks and white-on-black violence pale in comparison to black-on-black and black-on-white violence. If you think that such rates of violence automatically prove racism, then you must accept that antiwhite racism among blacks is much, much more common and a much, much greater problem than antiblack racism among whites. 

   But this, of course, is hatelogic. And these facts are hatefacts. And citing--or even knowing about--hatefacts is thoughtcrime. If you know what's good for you, you'll STFU and support the peaceriots and lovebeatings and corrective lootings and social justice arson. America is evil and deserves this. And you are evil, too. Leftist intellectuals have made it very clear for decades now that, ideally, the USA and Western civilization should be dismantled. The left always moves leftward, but its vocal vanguard tends to soft-peddle the more radical aspects of its worldview and goals. With their recent success, however, they've been emboldened to the point of near-honesty: e.g. moving more openly toward open borders, asserting that nationalism is impermissible, admitting that they hope to cut back on freedom of speech, due process and the right to keep and bear arms, making it clearer that they think that "whiteness" itself is bad, and promoting social justice violence to move the revolution along. 

   The less-radical left helps the more-radical left by helping it conceal and soft-pedal its radical goals. And that's a lot easier, of course, if the less-radical left actually believes the cover story. So the less-radical left engages in the ordinary methods of self-deception--it averts its eyes, it refuses to investigate, it insists that "the other guys are worse"... It's probably possible to keep that shit up until its way past too late.
