"Unmasking" For Political Purposes Is A Criminal Act

Holy crap.

The--seemingly, at least--biggest political scandal of my lifetime is unfolding and the mainstream/progressive media is still ignoring it. In fact, they're actively trying to minimize it by mentioning it only to argue that the Flynn prosecution was just fine, and none of this matters because it's all a conspiracy theory because Trump calls it 'Obamagate'...

   This seems to absolutely dwarf Watergate. Look, I'm obviously someone who believes that the MSM has an extreme lefter-than-liberal bias...and even I'm astonished by their near-total silence about this. Still no mention of this on the NYT front page, and one small blurb slightly below the first screen of the front page at the Compost. Both papers are all coronavirus DOOOM and Orange Man Bad all the time. One of them was still harping about Trump's tax returns... 

   Incidentally: if I were Trump, I'd fight tooth and nail to keep control of my tax returns, no matter how clean they were. It is certain that the progressive media will use them against him no matter what is or isn't in there. It's a cornerstone principle of political correctness that facts are to be subordinated to political ends...so, now that the media is in that part of the political spectrum, it shouldn't surprise anyone that that's their view. It's fairly routine for journalists now to deny even the possibility of objectivity...and bad epistemology has bad real-world consequences. 

   Anyway, I've never thought there was anything of real interest in Trump's returns anyway. There is no chance that the IRS simply rubber-stamps the tax returns of billionaire real estate investors. So there's not going to be any criminal smoking gun in them. So the only reason #LaResistance can really want them is to do what they do with every other scrap of information, misinformation and disinformation: spin it against the bad, bad Orange Man.
