Trumpian Lunacy: Now He's Accusing People Of Murder

Unlike many people, I don't think Trump is crazy. (I decided to keep the ambiguity...) But sometimes he's indistinguishable from a crazy person. Among his--or so I read--one hundred tweets the other day was this one accusing Joe Scarborough of murder. That's just not the sort of thing a sane person says...not to mention in public...not to mention when he occupies the Oval Office. He just can't seem to control his anger. Scarborough is, IMO, a piece of crap. He was a right-wing hack aiding in the Republican effort to steal the election in Florida in 2000. Now he's a left-wing hack. You'll note the one constant... But that's beside the point. The President of the United States is accusing someone of murder merely because he annoyed him. Not only does the President regularly throw temper-tantrums, but this is the kind he throws. This is just unhinged.
And, notice: he's doing this when he's on the verge of victory. (Imagine what he might do in defeat...) By all indications, the Durham investigation is about to vindicate Trump beyond his wildest dreams. Criminal charges against Barack Obama--though unlikely--do not seem entirely out of the question. And yet Trump is such a lunatic that even as this story breaks (though: not in the mainstream media, of course) he doesn't have the modicum of self-control required to refrain from blurting out psychopathic nonsense in response to provocation by a minor talking head on a relatively minor cable television network. This is a minor act of lunacy in the Trumpian constellation of lunacies...but it's just so repulsively bizarre that it stands out--to my mind, anyway. And speaking of which: remember the "bloody face" comments he made about Mika Brzezinski? Jesus.
The guy just has no business whatsoever even being mentioned in a conversation about the presidency. He simply doesn't have the temperament for it. And yet here we are...
