U.S. COVID-19 Mortality Rate Surges?

Still less than half the global rate.
Could be a blip. Can we reasonably hope for something like regression to the mean? (Or would the relevant mean be: the global mean. Which would be bad.)
Needless to day, this does nothing to alter my view that this is a very significant stat.
