Hungary Takes On The Feminist Goliath--And Wins (At Least For Now...)

Not only are universities pervaded by leftist ideology, but whole departments have been devoted to it as well. Women's and gender studies are the most obvious examples. They're not loci of neutral, objective inquiry. They're thoroughly political, and have activist ends. They're also well-known as the academically/intellectually weakest sectors of the university. It would be better to get rid of them--especially since there's already more than enough of that sort of thing in the rest of the humanities and social sciences.
   However--and obviously--I'm absolutely against government stepping in and making them illegal. Jesus Christ! This is like a paradigm of the cure being worse than the disease.
