The Trump/Russia Investigation: Is Turnabout Fair Play?
So the right has been saying for awhile now that the real story about the Trump/Russia investigation was that "the deep state," and especially the FBI, illicitly worked against the Trump campaign, e.g. spying on it.
I've been ignoring this because it just didn't seem very plausible to me...but...I kinda think that was a mistake.
Molly Hemingway at The Federalist suggests that this story finally showed up in the NYT as the result of a friendly leak, and the leak happened now as an attempt to "get out in front of the story," because the report is on its way.
The Mueller report has already shown the right to have been more zeroed in on the relevant facts over the course of the last two years; if they also turn out to be right about this...it's game over, man...game over. No contest.
We'll see, I guess.

The requisite question is, if the right is correct about Obama administration's actions around Russiagate, how do you update your opinion about Obama and the rest of the Dem establishment? You've obviously soured on progressives, but this isn't actually on them, it's much more the Clinton wing of the party at work.
