Yah know, I can't get too upset about this. Yes, hoaxes like this are bad--not to mention terrible own-goals. But I am currently more interested in this case:

Evidence that the Smollett coverage was frenzied? It was mentioned a bit before the big reveal. The coverage that it was a fraud is starting to seem frenzied, to be sure.
