Here is an interesting essay contrasting just this issue with Roiphe's attack on #metoo, and finding Roiphe coming up short.

The original Ginsberg interview has a lot more than just the title IX stuff, including some fascinating discussion of just why feminist jurisprudence was so important in the 1970s. I hadn't heard of Goesart v. Cleary. It really belongs in HS history books. What a travesty! The business about women on juries is pretty surprising too.
