Their stated explanation is farcical; she violated a policy against social media obscenity. But there is another explanation that is much more insidious buried in there, the leadership at their LLC thought their contracts with the gov't would be jeopardized.
I really think there should be some best practices for handling social media generated PR risk. Because oftentimes this stuff plays out in like a week, while management flips out on the first day and fires someone just to make it stop. No one ends up a winner, after all the cost of rehiring new staff is not at all insignificant, along with the severe injustice done to the employee.
