My Kitchen

Because I know you care...
On the last week of June, our new cabinets arrived, and our carpenter told us he'd have 'em installed the next day.
Here's what our kitchen still looks like today:

Should have finished the job ourselves, but we've been too busy not completing all the other jobs we don't exactly know how to do correctly.
I miss food.

Yikes. I hope you sicced the Better Business Bureau on the carpenter. That's shameful treatment. I'd go nuts if I lost a kitchen for that long.

Ugh.
No.

He's a nice guy, he's cheap, there were a few valid excuses here and there...and he gave me a smoker...in which I have yet to smoke anything...but still...

I would lose my mind.

We just got our house resided and the windows replaced--it only took about five years to find someone willing to do the job (small house, meant contractors didn't think it was worth the effort) and I'm delighted. Of course, this means I can finally start work on the upstairs bathroom, except that I'm in a Catch-22. I currently don't have a job (long story) so I have all the time in the world for this project, but I'm not working, so we don't want to spend the money on all the supplies (drywall, tile, grout, paint) I'd need to do the project while I have time.

So... maybe I should come to your house and do YOUR projects. ;)
