Transracialism Isn't Going Away

It's exactly as legitimate as transgenderism.
You can decide which way you think that inference should go...

If people stopped talking about race, and started talking about ethnicity, the difficulty goes away, as people have been changing their ethnic/cultural identities for millennia.

Well, none of the stuff in that post is right, though.

Races are natural kinds (of a fairly insignificant order), and the attempt to deny it is based on obvious fallacies and politically-based wishful thinking.

We can't just make race go away by not talking about it. Reality doesn't work that way.

But we can stop talking about things which are overwhelmingly not connected to race as if they are, which is my point. Not that there are no races (clearly there are, people can reasonably accurately allocate people to races) but that people talk as if "race" is the operative variable when ethnicity is.
