So what is it? Is this Arpaio guy just really good at hiding his improprieties?
He was convicted of (criminal) contempt of court..Everything else is out-of-court settlements and allegations levied by various liberal institutions such as the ACLU and the Obama DOJ. Now, that's not nothing, but I dunno what to make of it, overall.
I agree that it's *possible* that Arpaio is just a tough sheriff who got on the wrong side of the liberal establishment...but I don't think it's true. I'm inclined to think that he really is a total scumbag. And part of what convinces me is the framing of the dude in the fake assassination plot.
