Let's Play 'Whose Crazy: Me Or Everyone Else?': Erik Wemple: Trump Tweet Was A Threat; Jeffrey Lord Is Bullshitting

I thought that everything Lord said was right, and that the argument that so exorcises Wemple is plausibly good, though to some extent that turns on whether the GOP health-care plan will actually lead to large numbers of deaths. Anyway, I made a similar argument against conservative media a couple of times: by claiming that Obama was intentionally destroying the country, they were providing people with premises for a practical syllogism that would make committing violence against him at least minimally rational. And so they were blameworthy. The situations aren't perfectly symmetrical, obviously, but they're also not completely different.
