Is Trump's Charlotte Speech Trouble?
There were several parts of that speech that would have grabbed me pretty hard if given by a sane candidate. I'm concerned that there may be an actual "pivot,", and that it could be trouble. There were also the standard crazy parts, though. Maybe instead of gaining saner people he'll just lose crazier ones. But his support seems pretty inelastic...

If he stays true to form, he's done his "sane" speech using the teleprompter yesterday and he'll go batshit crazy again today (hopefully).

Dude, this is what we were worried about.. he's set the bar so low that a single reasonable speech might catapult his popularity through the roof..
He hit rock bottom like a month ago, and he's spent the whole month there, wallowing in his own rock-bottom-ness.. Maybe it was all a crafty ploy.. he's just been waiting for the right time to become spontaneously, temporarily, minimally competent and skyrocket his way to the Presidency...
