I see election returns like this in Europe and sigh. In a few weeks, the government of one of the largest economies in the world - California - will go bankrupt, despite having all of land, labor and capital in abundance. A cancerous corruption and shortsightedness have completely poisoned America's political discourse, and Europe's is apparently too politically correct to actually say anything of substance. The "news" networks are worse than worthless...
Do you ever feel like Chetter Hummin? Am I just incorrectly extrapolating a bad patch or have things genuinely gone to hell in a handbasket starting in the 80s?
