What is it that you found pathetic about that post?
Whatever terrible, terrible, terrible qualities Palin has, it is at least noteworthy that she is both (a) a woman on the Republican ticket who is (b) more popular than the guy at the top.
I agree with Easton that this actually says a good thing about the Republican party. This is the party of which gender traditionalists are more likely to be members. That even these people are enthusiastic about a woman running for Vice President says that attitudes towards the roles of women in society have changed not only at the top (which, on this issue, I'd say is the left), but on the bottom (here much more likely to be the left).
And it is undoubtedly a good thing for young conservative women to have the image of a woman running for VP in front of their eyes.
None of this is to the personal credit of Sarah Palin, but it is at least something to be happy about. Which, it seemed to me, is mostly what the Easton article was about.
YOO DARE TO QUESTION MY JUDGMENT?????????????
Insolence!!!!
