That is the scary thing Philosoraptor. While there are plenty of losers like this in that category, there are unfortunately some very intelligent, capable individuals who share their twisted beliefs. These guys were such losers that they couldn't pull it off, but I shudder to think what might be waiting out there in the wings, being organized by people smart enough not to get caught. I so hope the secret service are taking these threats seriously and protecting Barak accordingly.
Squeaky Frome was a few bricks shy of a load, too. John Hinckley was more than a few bricks shy.
These guys look as though they have enough IQ points between them to make a normal intelligence, but meth-addled daring may be enough to compensate for that lack.
