Little to say but "I agree" -- have you read A Problem From Hell by Samantha Power? It's a very good book, and her portrait of Dallaire is a high point.
Just a minor point: it's "Ottawa", not "Ottowa".

Wouldn't it be great if the rest of the world stood up and actually did something about something?
It happens occasionally---the Aussies helped out in Indonesia, and I guess whatever the Frogs did in Ivory Coast could be called "help."
But otherwise, not much. I'd like somebody else to get called imperialists for a change.
