Lovely. Let me just point out that UNC got in big trouble a couple of years back for choosing a book (for their freshman reading program) that argues that Islam is a religion of peace. Lots of folks, including the state legislature, hit the roof.

Umm, a crazy guy does something crazy, and we're supposed to conclude from that - what?
I mean, you could probably begin every post with a crazy guy doing something crazy vaguely related to your theme.
Um, to the best of my knowledge, I didn't draw any conclusions from this...
The naive reader, seeing a link described as showing the attacker's claimed motive followed by a reference to people being unhappy about a text that "argues that Islam is a religion of peace", wonders if you think this is going to exacerbate ignorant intolerance or whether you're not so sure about the peace part. "Lovely", in its scornful snarkiness, seems better in accord with the latter, while I would guess you intended the former - hence "what?" above.
