Dems' Gerrymandering Plan Wins 51.5-48.5

And all it took was $50 million of dark money from out-of-state leftist groups and a ballot so deceptively-worded that I'll bet 5-10% of voters didn't even know what they were voting for:
Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections, while ensuring Virginia's standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the 2030 census?
I'm pissed about this of course--but at least I can grudgingly semi-respect it. Unlike most of the Dems' major new policies and initiatives--which are insane--this one is mostly just playing hardball, IMO.
Also, cosmically speaking, this is partially my fault anyway. When the TX redistricting dust-up happened, I was like Well, I'm totally against gerrymandering...but...CA/NY/IL...and illegal aliens counting for apportionment...and this is kind of an emergency...so I guess I'm ok with it...*
Karma's a bitch.

The VA Supremes are our only hope now.

Addendum:
Actually, TX gerrymandering was a response to NY gerrymandering, IIRC.
