The left is anti-science...except when science can be used to advance the revolution.

   Don't miss the link about "language control"/PC Newspeak in Australian archaeology. Toward the end of the interminable document, they drop the pretense that it's about using certain terminology, and outright distinguish between propositions you are allegedly permitted to believe and those you aren't. E.g., it is impermissible to believe the true proposition that Aborigines have lived in Australia for about 60k years. Instead, we are told that we are to say (and, presumably, believe) that they have lived there "since the beginning of the dreaming(s)." Which is, basically, a way to say: forever.

   My main objection to leftism, actually, is epistemic. The PC/progressive left is deeply relativist.
