I agree with this a lot, except for a few things.

One big one: not sure about the hypothesis that this conflict is class-based. I mean--there are reasons to think that's true. It does seem, to a large extent, to be about "elites" vs....non-elites, or whatever. But I don't want us fleeing from cultural Marxism back to standard-issue Marxism...

Anyway, it's good.
