"In Trump's Second Term, a Bolder President Charges Ahead, Unchecked"
Which is what a lot of people feared in this term.
As I've been saying, if Trump can keep doing the good things he's doing--and keep it between the ditches, he'll be a very good...perhaps excellent...perhaps great...President. Partially because most of what he has to do is undo what the left has done.
But he very often seems to be right on the verge of going off the rails.
Of course the WSJ's newsroom is about as lefty as any other in the MSM. So we always have to take the behind-the-scenes reporting with a grain of salt. But we don't even have to care about that--we can just look at the stuff going on publicly.
He came roaring out of the gate in January spewing EOs right and left, closing the border, going after DEI and ideological capture, de-wokifying the armed forces, wrenching the country back onto something like a reasonable path...but obviously a Trump Presidency comes with risks and costs. We know he's going to fuck up. It's virtually guaranteed. But those of us who voted for him basically judged that the good he would do, minus the bad, would put us farther down the positive end of the spectrum than a Democrat Presidency would.
So here we are, in the rushing river...
Good luck everybody.
