Lawrence Krauss: Google's "Inclusive Language" Police

These people are idiots and totalitarians. 

They're also influenced by some of the worst ideas of the last 50 years, including postmodernism--which is, I suppose, part of what encourages them to grasp at impressionistic quasi-interpretations and vague feelings of disapproval...and then turn them into prohibitions and diktats everyone is supposed to follow. 'Black box'? Fuck you.

Now I'm going to look for more opportunities to use that phrase--and all the other prohibited ones.

'Senior citizen'/'older adult'? 

This is what Pinker calls 'the euphemism treadmill'...though the idea predated the term of course.

They seek to control language in part because it's a way to influence thought...but also simply because they like control. Their fruitcake...oh, wait...surely that term is prohibited???...ideology and their desire to control other people fit together naturally, as it turns out.

First they start falsely spewing accusations of so-called "white supremacy" everywhere...because 'racism' just wasn't bad--nor specific--enough...then they, apparently, declare all other uses of 'supremacy' politically incorrect...
