Biden (Temporarily (?)) Keeps Trump's Refugee Cap

Well, at least this is one respect in which he didn't just throw the doors open automatically and immediately...but it won't last.

My view, as you may know, is that our first priority should be taking in people fleeing political oppression. However, people are gaming the system. And that should be dealt with mercilessly. 

Glad to see some way in which Biden is being moderate about immigration...but I don't expect it to last. If we'd keep economic illegal immigration even a tiny bit under control, we could take in more (legit) political refugees.

Take in every single one of the HK protesters, I say.
