Biden's Plan: Zero Carbon Emissions From Power Sector By 2035

Well...theoretically, yes. But not really.
We could--again, theoretically--just up and shut down any carbon-releasing power plants at 11:59:59, December 31st 2034.
This will destroy the economy...and the country, I'd guess. But it could be done.
Is it in any way possible without cutting our own throats?
I dunno. What do I look like, an energyologist?
I don't see why it wouldn't be...if we built a shit-ton of nuclear plants.
Which Biden probably isn't going to do.
Given that: no, it isn't possible.
You don't have to be an expert to know that.
So I can say this with complete confidence despite my total lack of expertise: it isn't possible without either going whole-hog nuclear or crashing the country.
Anybody who thinks we can replace all our coal, oil, and natural gas power plants with wind or solar or some other airy-fairy crap in less than 15 years is high on Progressitarianism or something. In fact, speaking of fairies: fairy power is about as likely to do the trick as solar and shit.
Anyway: this would be $2,000,000,000,000 basically wasted. And it wouldn't accomplish its goal.
This is what happens when you make policy on the basis of counterfactual religious dogma.
Besides, 15 years is 5 years too late according to Progressitarian dogma--we'll already be over the tipping-point and on an express elevator to climate hell...going down...
