Washington Post Asserts That Durham Told Horowitz That Russiagate: Genesis Wasn't An Anti-Trump Op
1. Very good news if true. So it'd be cause for celebration if reported by an actual news source.
2. I've consistently said that this was just too Spy-vs.-Spy. I also said: if the conservatives are right about this, it's game, set, match, tournament...and whatever comes after that. This theory is so radical that, were the red team right about it, the blue team would have to close up shop. So no surprise if it's false.
3. You'd think that the Post wouldn't bullshit about this, since the truth is about to out...OTOH, apparently there's nothing it can do to shake the faith of its readers. So God knows.
I'm currently too busy to closely track what's going on. Since the MSM can't be trusted, I'll allow myself a small bit of optimism based on these assertions, but all we can do is wait for the actual report.
Also: liars I have known have employed this strategy: just keep lying about everything until others are exhausted by keeping track of, criticizing and correcting all the lies. In my current view, this describes La Resistance even more than Trump himself. No single lie counts for much in the midst of a downpour.
The Washington Post could report that Trump stood in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shot somebody and it wouldn't lose one reader.
But still: the report/assertions could be true. And if so: uh...yay? Craziest-case scenario avoided. WTG America!
