Jim Goad: First They Threw Milkshakes

I'm less interested in the slippery slope arguments here than in the facts that: (a) this is yet another case of the left advocating/tolerating/defending/engaging in physical attacks against (even moderate) conservatives, and (b) the media is, yet again, complicit by defending them. This is another kind of case in which I'd almost certainly be unable to resist decking the assailant--thus I'd likely end up in jail were I on the receiving end of such a thing.
   If you're inclined to defend such attacks, you've slipped over the edge. It's not very relevant to note that they don't do actual physical harm--they're an affront to the dignity of the target, and such bullshit has no place in a civilized society.
   The contemporary left just keeps losing more and more of its grip on sanity and civility.
