NYT Whines About The NPC Meme
Wow, this meme really has struck a nerve. Now the NYT has posted an extremely whiny article about it.
I mean...it really does nail something about the brainless, soulless left. But you'd think they'd have the wit not to throw tantrums about it. That's basically an admission of defeat.

There's something truly wonderful about brainless outrage over a joke about being brainlessly outraged.
That said, it really confirms the fear about fake news being misused. The people memeing this were banned under the pretense that it was deliberately misleading election content. The idea that anyone would be confused that a NPC wojack was an actual progressive activist is frankly just too obtuse to fall within the realm of good intention. Not to mention, it's not just the right of these people to poke fun in this way, it's also very revelatory (see above). Even from the perspective of a politically engaged liberal concerned about your party's future, a plausible accusation of insane knee-jerkery should be something you'd want to know about.
