Wow. Duke really *is* bad at this. Though it's hardly their greatest offence against free expression...WTF is the VP for student affairs doing making hiring/firing decisions for an external contractor? Does this guy think he's Louis the Fourteenth or something? Does he just stride through campus telling random people what to do? This is really freaking bizarre.
