Infinity War

Finally saw it. How do you not like it, with basically the whole Marvel Cinematic Universe in it?
Way too much Guardians of the Galaxy, though.
I still haven't seen Black Panther, but I thought that the Wakanda scenes in IW were freaking great.

It was awesome. I wish Thanos had a better motivation than Malthusian population theory, but that's what suspension of disbelief is for.
Black Panther was great, I didn't think Killmonger was great a villain as most, but everything else about it I really liked.

I totally want to see Black Panther more than ever now.

I completely agree about Thanos. I mean...I admire the effort...but...and it's not just because I have Malthusian sympathies...I want my villains *villainous.* I don't want them sympathetic, nor understandable, nor any such shit. I want me some flat-out evil evilness.

So that was disappointing.

Also...I mean...shit...you got the infinity gauntlet, dude...just double the food supply or whatever. Shit, why just go straight for the final solution?

Its evil, its fast, it takes less effort to imagine half of everyone destroyed, than imagine double or triple resources or whatever.
To make it stick, at least for more than a couple of generations, he needed to do like a 90% population reduction and simultaneously cut their tech back a few thousand years.
