Well this is legitimately weird. Apparently now the police are saying they can't confirm a link and the white nationalist is saying he was "misunderstood". Towards the end of the story, the newspaper mentions he previously complained to the paper for not being listed as a hate group.
So this guy saw a school shooting and thought PR goldmine. Jesus.
What the hell?????????
Also...
The white nationalist group is based in Tallahassee and the shooter lived in a suburb of Miami. Not saying it's impossible there is a link, but a decent understanding of Florida geography makes this a bit unlikely to say the least.
How was this story not vetted better? They completely played into this nut's hands, and odds are he'll recruit actual members because of it.
