Will A New New Age Attend Postpostmodernism?
Last time the irrationalist Continental mish-mash (postmodernism, poststructuralism, critical theory, feminism, etc.) and its associated illiberal politics (called 'political correctness' at the time) was on the rampage, so was supernaturalism (crystal, chakras, etc...called "new age" stuff at the time).
So: I wonder whether that'll happen again this time. Will a new new age attend postpostmodernism?

Did the Old New Age ever really end? As just one example, Donna Brazile told HRC to get acupuncture for HRC's pneumonia. And there is the entire body of work of Oprah. And the crazy dietary supplement industry. And the jackasses who claim to cure your cancer by making you drink your own piss after their secret processing.
Hmmm, that turned into three specific examples and one large set of examples.

Well, y'know, I now think that the postmodern/PC plague on campuses never ended. It just fell out of the headlines and festered...
On the bright side, at least the *process* the piss...
Sure, it's "festering". But the definition of festering suggests an abcess--which is to say, it's enclosed in a limited environment. Even Daily Kos has roughly zero hits on these topics.
