Congress will passa DACA-analog...and, yeah, I believe him in this case. I don't see why he'd say it if he didn't mean it. What do you think lying about it would buy him?
You know, coming from someone who once opined (rather correctly, in my opinion) that Trump isn't so much a liar, but a bullshitter, I do have to wonder why you suddenly think the likelihood that his words here carry weight can be derived from the apparent lack of utility value in them as a lie.
I thought we already knew: that ain't (always) why he says false things.
No, now that you point it out, that's totally right. He probably just thinks something like "here's what people want to hear...I'll just say it...would I stick by it?...[test pattern]"
But I just don't see Congress dropping the ball on this one. So I'm not going to fret too much about it.
