Sexism and General Assholery At Uber
This post, by Susan J. Fowler, is really beyond belief. I stopped a few paragraphs from the end because I already wanted to punch somebody, and I don't need to be walking around on a 72 degree, sunny Friday afternoon in February any more pissed of than I already am.

In the eyes of Uber, she's clearly a problem employee, so disloyal. More seriously, the leather jacket thing Ks straight out of Kafka.

Honestly, it was that Kafkaesque leather jacket shit that finally made me blow my stack. Not as bad as the other stuff...but just a bridge too far for me, stupid-wise.
Then the "have you noticed that all your reports about shitty things people are doing to you involve you?"... That...was really it for me.

I hope she actually has the hard evidence she claims to have collected and kept. If so, I hope she actually sues the shit out of them and wins huge amounts of money.
The 'common thread' is just general assholery like all the rest of it. The very worst is changing performance reviews after the fact. That's lowdown dirty.
How is that even possible???
I hope you know, this will go down on your permanent record...which...we change to say whatever we want it to say at a given time....
What the hell good is a record you can change at will?
