Short version:
The people who feverishly campaign for your banishment and punishment on account of your "insensitivity" or "offensiveness" are so bad at effecting such a result that, really, all they do is serve to better society by causing reasoned reflection on issues despite their insane attempts at totalitarian thought policing.
Uh, I don't think that's a defense of PC; ot is, rather, a defense of comedy. I am having trouble reading it any other way.
