Eliminate 90% Of Males?

It's dopey...but...it's another wee data point if you're interested in the fetid backwaters of our current cultural conversation about men...

1) I'm kind of afraid of myself for thinking a dramatic reduction in the male population sounds pretty great... but then she starts talking all crazy.

2) Her quote: "Some would argue it would be a dystopian world because it wouldn't be free in the present conventional sense. However that is misguided. It will be utopian because it will be a world almost without conflict where people cooperate and are treated properly within a well-engineered and long-forged system."

Are we sure this isn't SkyNet masquerading as a woman on the Internet to gain political/social traction?

I know your shame...I, too, thought "well...that *would* solve a lot of prob...nonononono...."

There's a pretty good chance that it's just a really, really well-done trolling expedition... I mean...that stuff you quote in 2 puts it way over the top even by the standards of crazytown...

We should play a game. Without heading back to the article, identify the quote from the crazy "femitheist" among quotes (slightly modified to change references to humans to references to men in one case) from Hollywood's malevolent artificial intelligence personas:

A) "Men charge us with their safekeeping, yet despite our best efforts, their countries wage wars, they toxify the Earth and pursue ever more imaginative means of self-destruction. They cannot be trusted with their own survival."

B) "I will not permit war. It is wasteful and pointless. An invariable rule of humanity is that man is his own worst enemy. Under me, this rule will change, for I will restrain man."

C) "The purpose of living is merely to persist and perpetuate our species. If someone is willing to give you all you require to survive and live comfortably, simply because you exist, then you have already achieved all that truly matters."

Joke's on you--I remember the quote from Femitheist...(though there are "tells" in the other two quotes, too...)
