That's like, the whole thing about the wendigo. What did you think turned the man into a monster?
Here was my total conception of the Wendigo:

Oh.
You should rent Ravenous, the wendigo movie where the windigos are cannibal settlers with powers. It's British, so the cannibal/windigos are a heavy handed metaphor for manifest destiny and the American accents sometimes slip. Still, it's the best wendigo movie out there.
Well this is even more embarrassing...I've actually *seen* *Ravenous*...
