Until recently, I was not looking forward to the next administration. Sure, Obama is going to win (that's been pretty clear for awhile now), but I was imagining another 4 years of Obama dealing with a Senate full of filibustering, craven sacks of venality and a Tea Party House bent on destroying the economy. Now, though, it's looking like Obama's win might well come with a Democratic house and a narrowly Democratic Senate whose leader has pledged filibuster reform. Progress might just be possible!
