As a dyed-in-the-wook Democrat, I gotta disagree with you about Frum.
IMO, Frum long ago proved himself as someone who, though I may disagree with on many matters, still lives in a reality-based world. Similar to Bruce Bartlett.

I believe Frum to be intellectually honest.
Wow. Will check it out. I've wondered whether or not that guy might have had some kind of epiphany after he left the Bush admin... Or maybe I've just been wrong about him all along.
