Fascist NYC Cops At the Wall Street Protests
I'm no fan of the Wall Street protestors. But they are merely annoying. This shows NYC cops committing criminal assault against protestors.
These guys are fascists. They belong in jail. Actually, it's too bad that the crowd didn't take matters into its own hands and fight back when these assaults occurred (not that I think these protestors have it in them). Of course, many of these guys are cops precisely because they are cowards, and would never try anything even remotely like this without a badge. This way, they are guaranteed to get away with almost anything with virtually no chance of any repercussions.
How much farther can this stuff go before Americans get fed up? When they do, of course, it won't be because some dirty hippies protesting on Wall Street got pepper sprayed. But the irrational, fascist violence against, e.g., people taping cops from their own yards ought to provoke a backlash sooner than later. Or so you'd think... But perhaps this is a frogs in hot water case.

that's the thing about cops, isn't it? faced with a terrorist you know you would want to fight back. but what do you do when the terrorist is wearing a badge? you're not just taking on some coward with a chip on his shoulder. you know that everything the badge represents will be brought to bear against you.
Yeah, what Montag said. Its nice to see you take a reasonable stand against unjust authority but the snide remark that they don't have it in them suggests that you believe that you DO have it in you to fight cops. Do you?
Yep, that's the thing alright, M. And it's abusing the power of the state in this way that makes assault by cops something like an order of magnitude more serious than assault by some non-uniformed thugs.
El S, It's nice to see you take a reasonable stand on my reasonable stand. You don't know me, and intertube bravado is cheap. So what good would it do for me to type an answer to your (possibly rhetorical) question? I will say that I have little doubt that my credentials in this general direction are stronger than yours, in case you are genuinely interested.
Its cute how you follow up "internet bravado is cheap" and "you don't know me" with some internet bravado and a statement which would require that you know me.

LOL so you're getting farther and farther off-base here El S... You start off by falsely asserting that "they don't have it in them" presupposes "I have it in me." Then you make a straight-forwardly empirically falsifiable (and, incidentally, false) claim about my stature...you're batting oh-for-several here. Care to discuss something substantial and do so reasonably? You're sidling up to a dipshit ban for no good reason that I can see...
