Ugh. I've got to agree with Ann Alhouse on this crapola.
I find it really difficult to understand why more people aren't routinely furious about the pervasiveness of this kind of marketing/PR bullshit.
Yeah, the other side does it too. I don't care. You can win the debate without stooping to their level. And, uh, "energy efficiency" does not mean even remotely the same thing as "saving money for a more prosperous future."
Jebus, we live in a sea of bullshit. I wish PR/marketing people had to refer to themselves as "bullshitters." Make everything rather more above-board.
