The Unreality-Based Community Gets Moving On Impeachification
Well that was fast.
I asked yesterday (though I'd been meaning to do so for a couple of weeks) how long it would take before crazies on the right started agitating to impeach Obama.
In a couple of hours, there was comment spam on that post advertising "Impeach Obama" t-shirts.
Now we see at Freek Republic that Facebook pages for impeach Obama groups have sprung up.
Looks like Andrew Sullivan was wondering about this too, and beat me to the post, linking to this site.
Way to strive for unity, you lunatics.

So, I as in a cab yesterday and heard a right winger named Jay Severin treat his listenners to this.
"There's one hope -- that patriots will come home. That the disillusionment with -- Obama will be sufficient to stave off the barbarians at the gate and that this election will be an aberration not a trend. And that if we fail to impeach Obama, then by 2012 … if he disappoints and angers and alienates enough people who realize that this that this Barack Oba-Marx is what he is, we could take this back in four years or sooner."
So he isn't quite calling for impeachment, yet, but give him a few days and I'm certain he will.
He goes with the following interesting conflation of delusion and racism with denial:
Conservatism did not lose -- it wasn't tried. Conservatism was never in the game. McCain is no Republican and he's no conservative. Our philosophy patriotism did not lose it was not argued. … I've been talking resistance for several weeks -- now we start now. To take our country back -- 52% is not insurmountable.
But we do bury some things today … the Republican Party. We do not bury conservatism. And his ideology which is Marxist and it will burying the law and order. Have you heard that Barack Obama mark is going to appoint a civilian national police force. At the polling places in Philadelphia yesterday. Doesn't offend you? Think about black Panthers with night sticks and guns and the power of arrest and detention. You should feel terrible Winston. Every time you use the phrase "impeach Obama" in a posting, some poor schmo in Hyderibad has to defeat the reading test to post that T-shirt ad. I'll bet he loves Obama and hates his job. Time to start using cartoon marks like for the curse words: "im#$%h Obama". Or maybe a code word? I like the sound of "martinize", or "cheapen a key constitutional failsafe to the point that it cannot even be brought up as a recourse against a president who should, by all rights, be in prison right now".
One of the many things that sucks about Blogger is that half the time I can't get the little trash can icon that lets me delete comments like the dickhead t-shirt ad above. Haven't been able to scare it up for days now.
Let's take A's advice and figure out a code word...
