John Cole discovers "...a 67 page, 192 footnote pdf file titled “An Examination of Obama’s Use of Hidden Hypnosis Techniques in His Speeches.”
Like I said, bat-shit crazy.

Oh man, that was just the read I needed. Holy shit! That is some Grade-A stupid. Check out this gem:
"Notice how Obama has his head tilted to the right in interviews...
According to Tonya Reiman, Author of “The Power of Body Language,” such a head tilt to the right is “one of the most powerful manipulation tools of body language.” ... Barack Obama is actually manipulating you subconsciously by tilting his head without you even consciously realizing it. The reason is that tilting your head to the right specifically is a sign of vulnerability, a very effective one. Per our animal instincts, a head tilted to the right exposes an animal’s jugular vein, their weakness, and in turn, causes us to lower our defenses subconsciously as a counter-measure, without even being consciously aware of it."
Oh yes, sweet as nectar crazy! Hey WS, is there a fallacy for when the arguer unintentionally commits the very thing they intend to expose? Here we are being told not to be unduly persuaded or manipulated. But it's the very author of the warning that's been unduly persuaded. Or maybe he's just a friggin' idiot.
LOL. No, there's no name for that that I know of...so, as discoverer, you get to name it. How about the "Self-Referential Asshattery Fallacy"? Or the "Self-Reflexive Wingnut Fallacy"? Something like that?
