Hugh Hewitt on CNN

Man, HuHew is lame. He was asserting that journalists are setting up Palin with "gotcha" questions...though apparently the only thing that counted as a non-gotcha question was one that asked the candidate to talk about her life or feelings.

He tried to make hay out of Biden's claim that Roosevelt went on the air after the '29 stock market crash, correctly pointing out that people would go ballistic if Palin had said it. However, there's an obvious asymmetry in the cases: Palin is a moron, Biden is not. One or two such gaffes...or even fairly frequent ones...is one thing. Being a completely uneducated lackwit who can't even handle interviews with the entertainment media is, well, something else entirely. The problem with Palin is the pattern. Different thing, see.

So nice try, ya hyperpartisan hack.
