My cynical conclusion: keep the headlines focused on McCain, no matter how negative they might be, to divert attention from the utterly disastrous Palin-Couric interview.
Anyone watching it or reading the transcripts will get a better understanding of the woman *this close* to being president, and the McCain campaign wants to avoid that at any and all costs. No wonder they won't let her answer any questions.
I can't wait for the debates.
Well, appealing as though that theory is, I think we gotta keep ourselves objective and just take this stuff for what it is lest we run the risk of losing the objectivity that is necessary here to really nail the GOP. They've been horrendous enough - no biased conclusions necessary.
The more charitable we are and the more we keep away from jumping to conclusions, the stronger we will be in the upcoming events.
