After The War On Drugs

Talking points concerning that other war we're losing.

Though since that war is unjustified, too, I guess we're actually winning...

I ever mention how much I hate "talking points" and the whole concept of "talking points?" Jeez, what an abomination. Why can't people put out thinking points?

Spoken like a man who never deals with the media!

Talking points are, for better or worse, essential for communication through the mass media. You are lucky if you can get one short, 5 second point across in a television or radio spot. You might get 2-3 points (a sentence or less each) across in a print interview. Talking points help you to focus and communicate the most important pieces of information.

If the interview is hostile, talking points are even more important.

Welcome to the world of a conservative, Richard.

The other day, Barack Obama referred to "the president of Canada." Really.

Did you hear about it? No, I didn't think so.

But I'm sure he knows how to spell potatoe. The republic is safe in his hands.

Ah, Tom...if only you were half as concerned with the actual, substantial errors of conservatives as you are with the slips-of-the-tongue of liberals...

But I see what hell it is being a conservative.

God, I don't know how you guys have survived.

Grit. True grit...

I'm surprised Tom, rabid defender of Bush, is saying ANYTHING about Obama's one ignorant statement and using it as justification for his belief that the republic will not be safe in his hands.

One would think that someone with such a problem would have a HUGE problem with a man for whom a word was actually created ("Bushism") due to his inabilility to make ONE speech without expressing his utter ignorance and idiocy verbally.

Although, I don't know why I'm even bothering to point out contradictions in your thought processes anymore. It's obviously useless.
