Give 'Em Hell, Purgegate Edition
Looks like the Damnocrats have suddently evolved into vertebrates and plan to suggest to Mr. Bush that this may not be a monarchy after all.
Give 'em hell, boys. Bush's despicable performance yesterday came pretty close to moving me from the I think he maybe should be impeached camp directly to the impeach his ass and throw him in the slammer camp, without even a brief stop in the simple ITMFA camp.
I'm sick of the nefarious dealings of this contemptable and odious band of (as my old PoliSci prof Tom Israel would say) ne'er-do-wells. I'm well past giving them the benefit of the doubt, past trying to fish around for possibly benign motives, past pretending that these people are worthy of any respect, past constantly second-guessing myself on the off chance that I'm motivated by partisanship.
These guys are loathsome, power-hungry morons hell-bent on amassing power and pushing their radically partisan agenda. If a Democratic administration had done half of the dirty dealings that this bunch has done I'd be suggesting impeachment. Conservatives, of course, would be suggesting execution.
So here's to Leahy and Conyers--may the subpoenas begin pouring forth even as the Spring rains onto the...the...the...very rainy place, where much Spring rain falls.

Richard Armitage did it.
For the record, a Democratic administration did far worse, sicking the IRS on their political and personal enemies. It's buried in the Barrett Report. The Bushies wish they had such friends in congress, not to mention the press. The Barrett Report went bye-bye, along with who really killed JFK.
(It is, however, possible that the GOP is saving it in case Hillary gets nominated. Political people do such things.)
Not only that, but the Clenis shot JFK from the Grassy Knoll, and then there's Area 51, and the Democrats actually broke into their own headquarters in the Watergate and framed the Republicans and also they did Iran-Contra and they're really worse in every possible way, even on the stuff the Republicans did AND WHAT ABOUT BIGFOOT?!?!?!!!1!???
Plus, have you ever seeen OBL and Nancy Pelosi in the same place at the same time? I thought not.
I hear ya, brother. But so long as the MSM is controlled by the Hollywood cabal, whaddaya gonna do?
Stop drinking their kool-aid?
Again, I feel ya. I mean, the way the liberals run everything around here including all the reputable news sources and the universities and everything so that they all make it LOOK like liberals have been right about, say, the equality of women and of the races and civil rights and all that...I mean, when they control all the "facts" and control our minds...I mean, when are people going to stop listening to the "experts" about Iraq and global warming and evolution and start listening to right-wing pundits and preachers and corporations?
Until that day comes, I'm afraid the reality-based community will continue to grind us under the hobnail boot of "reason."
Is the firing of the US Attorneys significant? The MSM says so, and so the nation dances to their tune.
Was Plamegate significant? For all the millions of words thrown about you would think so, but it's a pimple of history, or a minor abrasion.
Was Filegate or the Clintons using the IRS against their enemies significant? Apparently not, because the MSM didn't find it so. Therefore we have no idea what the Barrett Report is, and remain uncurious about the 100-plus pages redacted at the insistence of 3 Democratic senators.
If a tree falls in the forest and the MSM doesn't hear it fall, does it make a sound?
No, it doesn't.
Stop drinking their kool-aid?

irony is truely dead.
Yeah, Filegate, man, I just can't believe they let 'em get away with THAT...that's gotta be the most importanty scandal since Whitewater...or Troopergate.
And then there were those murders in Arkansas....and the cocain flights.
What I can't figure out is how the Illuminati figure into all of this...
But if Wolf Blitzer tells me not to worry about it, then, well, you know...Wolf Blitzer is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I've ever known in my life...
Filegate was very serious, that you would toss it off sorta reinforces my point. And we never found out what happened. The Barrett Report, likewise.
Wolf Blitzer is OK; it's that evil Jiminy Cricket cackling over his shoulder, Jack Cafferty, that's the wonder. How anyone could mistake that show for news is beyond me. It's more like MST3K for the left.
I hope you're not suggesting that drug-running isn't serious...
I was trying to stay analagous---using the IRS against or gathering FBI files on one's enemies (and in the latter case, allies) is an abuse of law enforcement power by the executive branch.
In fact, no one has accused the Bushies of actual malfeasance, as in persecuting innocent Democrats or getting Republicans off the hook, except the LA Times, which got the story wrong.
I dunno...
I still think that the ritual sacrifice of bunnies in the Oval Office should get a mention here.
