VA is in Trouble

Not only did the Dems take all three statewide races, they seemed to have flipped 13 red House seats blue.
We were having a hard time holding them off when they only had a 51-49 edge in the House of Delegates and we had the governorship, LG, and AG... They used just about every dirty trick in the book, e.g. refusing to seat Youngkin's appointments to university Boards of Visitors, calling a special session of the legislature to keep Sears from raising money and doing campaign events...
Now we are right and truly screwed.
They've got a tsunami of lunatic gun laws all cued up, including an "assault weapons" ban. They've to an unconstitutional Gerrymandering redistricting plan in the tubes that is almost beyond belief...along with a constitutional work-around. If you're female, get ready to see a lot more penises (generally attached to sex-offenders) in your locker rooms and public restrooms (especially in NoVa...so...well...as ye sow...) We'll waste more tax money on "green" energy nonsense and pointless social programs. They'll reduce pressure on VA public universities to reform and de-wokify. We could become a "sanctuary" state.
From a short-term and narrowly self-interested perspective, there are advantages for me. We'll get more raises. Weed will be commercially available...so there's that...
Maybe Spanberger will surprise us and govern from the center...but I don't think that's something we can expect from the contemporary Dems--or from her.
   But I guess we'll see.
