The Mirror: The Left's Macro-Cult: Recruited to Fight a Make-Believe War

TBF I have encountered Trump cultists. I guess I've said this before. Thing is, you have to really look for 'em. I've really only encountered them online. Whereas the cult of Woketarianism...is, well...look, it's a cult, man. Or, rather: it's so damn cult-like that there's not much sense mincing words about that.

   OTOH, most of the Trump voters I know have plenty of criticisms of the guy. I consider him the biggest roll of the dice of my political life. If he runs the country into a ditch, I won't be particularly surprised. I don't even think the guy is fit to be President--as I keep saying. But, damn...the other side has completely lost its shit. It's a cult. Or, rather: a large chunk of it is a cult. And TDS is rampant even in the other parts. TDS is itself cultish...it's like an anti-Cult: the cult of anti-Trumpness.

   That's another reason I'm frequently holding my breath about Trump: not only do I not want the country run into a ditch...almost even worse would be for those people to have grounds for thinking themselves to have been right. Anything that pumps more crazy into the cult would be very, very bad...
